We have launched a new design for the BMW G14, G15, G16 840i M850i 8-Series, F91, F92, and F93 M8 hood. Like most of RW’s products, fitment is bolt-on requiring no special modifications to your BMW. Our new hood does not only elevate the appearance of your M8 but also deceases the weight of your hood by almost 50%. Each carbon fiber hood is constructed from 100% dry carbon fiber that is encased in a UV-protective clear coat that is ready to be installed straight on your car. Each hood comes backed by RW Carbon’s superior fitment and quality guarantee to ensure you good an item you are proud of every time. Our hoods come with studs built into the hood to make installation as simple as possible. Finish off your 8-Series or M8 build with this beautifully crafted carbon fiber hood.

Installation

Installation for this RW 8-Series hood is quite simple, as it uses OEM mounting locations. Our hood also has OEM style studs, which makes installation easier. All your factory accessories will transfer over. If you have any questions or would like some additional guidance, RW Carbo is always here to help. We can also install it for you if you are local to us in Anaheim CA

Note: Your OEM hood struts are engineered with a heavier metal hood in mind and are not intended for carbon fiber hoods. We recommend removing the struts or replacing them with a strut with less resistance. When closing the hood, do not slam it but rather apply even pressure with the palms of your hands to get the hood to latch in place. Not following these instructions can lead to premature cracking or damage.
