Now introducing our carbon fiber hood for your BMW F97 X3M, F98 X4M, G01 X3, and G02 X4. Like all of RW’s products, fitment is bolt-on requiring no special modifications to your BMW. This hood also saves your vehicle about 20 pounds, which can improve handling characteristics. Our carbon fiber hoods are constructed out of genuine carbon fiber for a structurally sound product that is strong, durable and lightweight. After constructed, each hood is clear coated for a high gloss finish. Each hood comes backed by RW Carbon’s fitment and quality guarantee that so many RW customers have come to love. Our hoods come with studs built into the hood unlike some of the other options on the market which makes the installation more difficult

Installation

Installation for the RW hood is quite simple, as it uses OEM mounting locations. Our hood also has OEM style studs, unlike some other options on the market which makes installation more difficult. Installation can be completed in around 1-2 hours and requires standard hand tools. If you need installation in Southern California, we can get it done for you!

Note: Your OEM hood struts are engineered with a heavier metal hood in mind and are not intended for carbon fiber hoods. We recommend removing the struts or replacing them with a strut with less resistance. When closing the hood, do not slam it but rather apply even pressure with the palms of your hands to get the hood to latch in place. Not following these instructions can lead to premature cracking or damage.
